With just days to go until UFC 203 in Cleveland, the card has lost a pivotal fight on their Fox Sports prelims.
Ian McCall and Ray Borg were scheduled to compete in a much anticipated flyweight matchup until Borg was forced to pull out due to an illness. UFC officials confirmed Wednesday night that he was unable to compete this Saturday.
This is the second schedule fight in a row for McCall that an opponent has had to withdraw, with Justin Scoggins at UFC 201 being the previous with failing to make weight.
From the looks of things, McCall will have to be rescheduled for another fight later this year. McCall mentioned to Ariel Helwani that he would like to fight Neil Seery in Belfast, Ireland.
With the bout scrapped, UFC 203 moves to a total of 11 fights for the event.
